I, as do you, have a 9/11 story to tell.
Cataclysmic events mark us for all time – shape our thinking and sometimes our behaviors. Nothing prior to this date nine years ago prepared me for the large scale evil we witnessed.
My memories are not shaped by evil.
What impacted me at a deeper level was our humanity – our collective grief, the surge of caring for one another, a unified call to action. We became a community defined by our common experience.
Sharing makes us real.
I wonder why it takes such concentrated energy to jolt us into being open and genuine. Is it simply easier to fall back into patterns of distancing ourselves? Is it the fear of being judged that keeps us from sharing our pain? Our dreams?
Growth demands risk.
The hesitancy of being real is paralyzing. We are trapped in a world of our own making.
When I tell you who I am, I am giving you permission to be real with me. We connect.
The freedom to be honest and direct drives my business consulting, my speaking engagements, my relationship with you.
Are you ready to connect?
