The Secret to Successful Business Meetings

Business Meeting

Over the last few weeks I attended several real estate functions, conferences and classes.

Some here locally. Others out of state.

I enjoy meeting with other real estate agents and small business owners associated with the industry.

This is what I noticed.

Some folks are excited to be where they are.

Hugs are common when friends meet. Everyone is alert to the conversation.

There is a buzz of energy. You don’t want to leave, so dinner plans are made. The night is full of laughter and shared stories.

Other folks appear beaten down.

The atmosphere is heavy. The conversation seems forced.

Even social chit chat is at a minimum. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. You can’t wait to leave.

What makes the difference?

The real estate market is tough for those in both groups.

Is it the meeting agenda? The location? The people involved?

What do you think?

My goal is to attend and offer functions, conferences and classes where the energy is high.

What’s the secret? What made the last meeting you attended a success?
Let’s talk about it.
